We are delighted to announce the selection of two highly qualified individuals for the position of Neonatal Co-chairs at the Perinatal Quality Improvement Network of Massachusetts (PNQIN). After a rigorous selection process, Kristie Leeman and Cheryl Slater have been chosen to serve as the Neonatal Co-chairs, bringing a wealth of experience, leadership, and passion to their roles.
Kristie Leeman is an accomplished neonatologist with over fifteen years of experience providing neonatal care. Currently serving as the Associate Medical Director of the Boston Children’s Hospital NICU and Director of Quality for the Division of Newborn Medicine at BCH, Kristie’s commitment to quality improvement and safety has been evident throughout her career. Her leadership in multidisciplinary teams, dedication to trainee education, and extensive experience in quality improvement projects make her an ideal candidate for the Neonatal Co-chair position.
Kristie’s proven track record in quality improvement science, national recognition for mentorship, and expertise in addressing perinatal health equity align seamlessly with PNQIN’s mission. We are confident that Kristie will play a pivotal role in advancing PNQIN’s goals and contributing to the organization’s growth.
