ACOG, CDC, and SMFM promotes an improved method for care regionalization based on maternal condition called Levels of Maternal Care.

Levels of Maternal Care is like the Neonatal Levels of Care model but focuses instead on the pregnant person. PNQIN first became engaged in this initiative in 2019 to explore how Levels of Maternal Care effort could benefit the Commonwealth.
